Naushad Ali reopens Pondicherry flagship store with new product lines

Clothing brand Naushad Ali has reopened its flagship store in Pondicherry in line with relaxing retail restrictions in Tamil Nadu and has launched a range of new product categories in the store including bags and fragrances.  

 
Naushad Ali’s new multi-brand selection in-store includes a range of Indian labels with aesthetics complimentary to Naushad Ali’s paired down, elegant style. The selection includes jewellery from Dhora and Kassa Jewels, home fragrances by Niana, perfumes by Bombay Perfumery, and luxury tea by Three Clive Road among others, Naushad Ali announced on Facebook. Travel bags by Kolkata-based brand The Burlap People also feature alongside Naushad Ali’s latest men’s and womenswear collections. 
 
The brand also recently launched an exclusive capsule collection of ‘Selvedge Shirts’ made using the selvedge edge of textiles and highlighting it as a design feature and way to reduce textile waste. The brand is exploring numerous sustainable production methods including Khadi textiles and organic textile dyes. 

Naushad Ali launched his eponymous brand after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Chennai. Along with its flagship store in Pondicherry, the brand also retails from its dedicated e-commerce store, as well as at multi-brand luxury fashion retailers online and in-store including Aza Fashion and Ogaan.
