Nappa Dori to open store in London, UK
The Indian luxury leather goods company Nappa Dori is preparing to open its doors in London, UK, with a store on Central London’s Monmouth Street. The brand will also launch a collection of tote bags as a London exclusive.
Nappa Dori, founded by Gautam Sinha, plans to open its first ever UK store at Seven Dials in Central London. The store, which currently has a black exterior decorated in gold and boarded up windows, will open its doors towards the end of next month.
The two-storey store will stock the brand’s handcrafted leather products, which include handbags, luggage, purses, accessories, and stationery. The store will also stock an exclusive collection of London-inspired tote bags.
“Right from the start, the brand’s ethos has borrowed inspiration from the British,” Sinha told Vogue India. “So it was apt for Nappa Dori to open its doors in London, considered a key city in the world.”
Along with the brand’s signature leather goods, the store will feature its Café Dori café concept, which also features in its India flagship store. The café will focus on Indian snacks and beverages such as chai. The store’s basement will serve as an atelier to show customers how the brand's products are made, as well as mood boards to showcase design influences.
