Nappa Dori steps into footwear
Leather goods brand Nappa Dori has launched its first footwear collection for both men and women, translating its signature luxury minimalist aesthetic into a line of loafers, slip-ons, and dress shoes.
After teasing the launch on Facebook last week, Nappa Dori’s maiden footwear collection is now available on the brand’s e-commerce store. The footwear line launched with a minimalist-style campaign and the footwear will retail in Nappa Dori’s brick-and-mortar stores in India and the UK, as well its upcoming location in Dubai.
Notable items in the collection include a pair of black women’s lace up shoes with thick bands of woven leather and simple black slip-ons. For men, slip-on loafers with a leather tassel detail and formal wear-appropriate brogues give a range of options. Prices in the collection range from Rs 6,500 ($86.38) for a pair of women’s ‘Luna’ Black slip-ons to Rs 18,500 for a pair of men’s classic black brogues.
National Institute of Fashion and Technology graduate Gautam Sinha launched Nappa Dori in Delhi in 2010. The brand aims to offer functional and timeless leather accessories, according to its website. Nappa Dori began as a leather accessories brand and has expanded into luggage, homeware, and other lifestyle goods.
