The brand has become known for its vintage-look leather trunks and trunk-style bags and its new ‘travel equipment’ line emulates the same modern yet retro aesthetic. However, instead of being crafted from Nappa Dori’s classic coloured leather, the luggage is made from polypropylene board, a lightweight and strong material designed to keep luggage secure without adding weight.

True to Nappa Dori’s classic collection, the luggage features leather handles and a handloom Ikat lining. The luggage line has launched on the brand’s e-commerce store and in its network of brick-and-mortar stores in India and the UK and is priced between $327 (Rs 23,892) for a small, wheeled suitcase and $588 for its largest-size luggage.

“We are finally launching our travel luggage on the first of September,” the brand announced on Facebook. “And we cannot wait to share it with all of you.”

Nappa Dori has expanded its product offerings significantly this year and also launched a line named ‘objects’ consisting of home décor, gift items, lighting, and everyday items. The brand has seven stores in India, one in the Maldives, and one in London, UK.
