Nappa Dori, known for its leather and travel goods, has launched a collection of ‘Dori Rakhi’s’ made from leather scraps and metal fastenings, to celebrate Raksha Bandhan, the brand announced on Facebook. This year, Raksha Bandhan will take place in India on August 22. Some of the brand’s Rakhi designs feature woven thread and others are embossed with gold lettering or contrast stitching, techniques used on the brand’s range of handbags.

The brand also recently expanded its product line from its signature leather goods and released a new line of canvas bags. The line, named ‘The Khaki Edit’ features a selection of travel and tote bags, as well as rucksacks and pouches and recently launched on the brand’s e-commerce site and in stores.

Nappa Dori has been expanding its product lines this year and previously launched homeware line ‘Dori Living’ in April with a dedicated Facebook page and segment on its website. After closing its original flagship store in Hauz Khas in Delhi last November, the brand now retails from its other India stores and flagship store in London, UK as well as its dedicated e-commerce store.
