The two-day fashion event began with a flag hoisting ceremony which was followed by Ganesh Vandana and a welcome address by NIFT Patna’s director. Students displayed their designs on the runway and also took part in challenges such as making wearable art.

The event also featured a craft bazaar to promote handloom and handicraft products from regional artisans. The craftspeople showcased their work and students were inspired by the heritage crafts. “This is a very good opportunity for us to showcase our talents,” artist Sunidhi told the Times of India at the event. “We have displayed our artworks here and many people have appreciated it.”

Along with fashion, the event shone a spotlight on music with a battle of the bands competition, solo singing show, and performance by Desert Storm. Other activities included Sudoku, clay and paper modelling, a group and solo dance show, and photography show.
