Myntra’s leased its new offices, which will be its first venture into flexible office spaces, from workspace solutions provider IndiQube in October, 2019, with a five-year contract, two sources told TNN.

Myntra is currently based in Bengaluru’s Kudlu Gate area by Electronic City and will move to Outer Ring Road. The space will accommodate 2,600 employees and will be situated close to Flipkart’s offices in Embassy Tech Village.

The move is part of Flipkart’s U.S.-based parent company Walmart’s plan to integrate its various businesses, according to TNN sources. Myntra’s current office also does not comply with Indian fire safety regulations and Walmart wanted to ensure that standards were met, the sources said. Annual rent in the new location would total around Rs 31 crore ($4.66 million) at the market rate.

Myntra also just launched its new campaign “Right to be Me” with a diverse group of influencers including model and fashion influencer Toshada and interior designer and fashion blogger Subhashish.

The campaign encourages shoppers to express their individuality by sharing stories of people who have done so. The online platform also recently launched Mahesh Babu’s menswear brand The Humbl Co. online which retails a range of casual wear including flannel shirts and jeans.
