Myntra to be Royal Challengers Bangalore’s fashion partners for IPL 2020 edition

E-commerce fashion platform Myntra has partnered with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as their exclusive fashion partners for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2020 edition.
With this partnership, Myntra will launch an exclusive RCB store, where it will be selling the latest cricket merchandise and host promotional events with RCB marquee players.
Myntra is looking to connect and engage with customers across India through this partnership and expects this marketing initiative to drive its growth in the coming months.
Commenting on the partnership, Amar Nagaram, chief executive officer at Myntra, in a statement said: “It gives us the perfect platform to connect with a varied set of audiences who bond over the spirit of T20 cricket that is considered a festival in itself. This event marks an opportune occasion to reaffirm our marketing efforts and drive strong salience among fans as one of the leading brands for fashion and lifestyle.”

Myntra has been investing heavily in marketing and branding to further expand its customer base in India. The company had recently signed Bollywood actor Kiara Advani as its brand ambassador.
