Online fashion retailer Myntra is currently testing a technology that will help it access inventories in stores or warehouses of several fashion brands, to deliver the product to the shopper from the nearest possible location.

The technology will help Myntra to ship products to shoppers from the nearest location of several fashion brands from the nearest possible locations, including brand-owned outlets - Archiv

This will make possible for a Myntra shopper to be delivered in the shortest time, a lot of inventories from each of the brands.

“Assuming a fashion brand has 200 stores and 20 warehouses, inventories at all these locations are available to the 18 million active users at Myntra, apart from what is available on the website,” a leading daily quoted Ananth Narayanan, CEO of Myntra as saying.

The technology will help Myntra to ship products to shoppers from the nearest location of several fashion brands from the nearest possible locations, including brand-owned outlets.

Narayanan added that while Myntra is currently piloting the project with two brands, delivery from warehouses and outlets of brands will start from February.
