Myntra teams up with Samsung to promote its new credit cards
Samsung has just launched two new credit cards in India. The South Korean giant has teamed up with Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra to offer shoppers access to exclusive deals from the multi-brand e-commerce platform.
To launch the credit cards, Samsung has partnered with both Axis Bank and Visa, TechCrunch reported. Named the ‘Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card’, the new offering will include a ‘Signature’ card and an ‘Infinite’ card, which has a higher credit limit.
“At Samsung, we believe in transforming the lives of our consumers through the power of innovation,” said Samsung’s president and CEO for South-West Asia Ken Kang in a statement, TechCrunch reported. “The Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card, powered by Visa, is our next big India-specific innovation that will change the way our customers buy Samsung products and spend on services through a series of industry-leading features. We’re excited to be able to put the control into our consumers’ hands.”
As well as on Myntra, Samsung credit card users will be able to avail discounts from fast moving consumer goods store BigBasket, food delivery business Zomato, Tata’s 1mg pharmacy, and Urban Company. Samsung will soon begin to accept applications for credit cards in India.
