Myntra strengthens delivery network ahead of EORS 11
Flipkart-owned fashion e-commerce platform Myntra has strengthened its delivery network especially in tier 2, 3 cities and beyond ahead of its flagship End of Reason Sale (EORS) event.
Myntra will host the 11th edition of its flagship biannual event ‘End of Reason Sale’ (EORS) from December 22 to 25.
The e-tailer claims that one-in-two orders in its core categories such as women's apparel, footwear, and fashion are from tier 2, 3 cities in India, which is why the company sees huge potential in these markets for future growth.
Myntra has expanded its delivery network in these cities and towns to ensure customers across India get their orders faster as it expects strong demand during its EORS 11.
The company has partnered with 15,000 kirana stores for deliveries and over 35 brands who will deliver directly from stores.
"We have made a lot of investments, especially keeping tier 2 and tier 3 in mind. Myntra has now expanded deliveries to 23,000 pin codes across the country. We are also expecting 5X sales over normal days with over 50% sales coming from Tier 2 and 3 cities and towns,” Amar Nagaram, head at Myntra Jabong, told the Livemint.
During the upcoming EORS, Myntra is looking to acquire 7 lakh new customers especially from tier 3, 4 towns and other cities.
