Myntra sells over 3.3 million products on Day 1 of EORS 11

Fashion e-commerce platform Myntra witnessed a 67 percent rise in its orders over last year on the first day of the ‘End of Reason Sale’ (EORS) event, selling over 3.3 million products.

Myntra witnessed strong participation from tier 2 and 3 cities across the country, with 50 percent of orders coming from these regions. Jackets, sweatshirts and casual shoes were the most bought items on Day 1.
 
Commenting on the first day sales, Amar Nagaram CEO at Myntra in a statement said: “We are extremely delighted and inspired by the encouraging response for the End of Reason Sale. We witnessed the highest ever sale on a single day in the history of Myntra with a 67 percent rise in orders over last year."

“We have also set a new record by acquiring 2.2 lakh new users on a given day with traffic to the platform rising 2X over baseline days.  Sales on the first day have been led by men’s jeans and streetwear, women’s western and ethnic wear, sports footwear and men’s casual wear,” he added.
 
Myntra is expecting 60 percent year-on-year sales growth during the four-day EORS, which got underway on December 22 and runs till December 25.
 
During EORS 11, Myntra is looking to acquire 7 lakh new customers, especially from tier 3, 4 towns and beyond.
