Myntra-Jabong appoints Harish Narayanan as business marketing head

Flipkart’s fashion e-commerce portal Myntra-Jabong has appointed former-Youtube executive Harish Narayanan as marketing head for the joint business, as Mithun Sundar shifts his focus to revenue and fashion strategy.

Myntra-Jabong has changed up its executives to focus on growth


“Harish joins us at a very exciting phase of growth and expansion,” Myntra head Amar Nagaram said in a statement, as reported by ET Retail. “His experience and proven track record in both, B2C and B2B domains will help us create superior messaging and engagement with our audience. His appointment will strengthen our already strong leadership team which is very well poised to achieve high growth targets and is driven by a mission to provide customers the best of fashion and lifestyle."

Narayanan will report to Nagaram in his new role. Narayanan will take over Myntra-Jabong’s marketing from Mithun Sundar who is the current head of both revenue and marketing. Moving forward, Sundar will remain head of revenue as well as fashion strategy, according to Myntra-Jabong’s statement. 

In his newly defined role, Sundar will also work closely with Nagaram as well as other group stakeholders to plan out the business’ next growth phase. Sundar will also be responsible for analytics, business intelligence, and strategic planning and execution for Myntra-Jabong.
