Flipkart-owned fashion marketplace Myntra will host the 11th edition of its flagship biannual event ‘End of Reason Sale’ (EORS) from December 22 to 25, and is expecting 60 percent year-on-year sales growth during the four-day event.

EORS will have 8.5 lakh styles to choose from over 3,000 brands across apparel, footwear, and accessories. The company expects 18 million shoppers during its year-end sale on its website and app.

Myntra had claimed that it sold over 9 million items during the 10th edition of its flagship EORS and acquired 4.8 lakh new customers.

During the upcoming EORS, Myntra is looking to acquire 7 lakh new customers especially from tier 3, 4 towns and beyond.

“We’ve activated 23,000 pin codes, the farthest this event has ever gone. We’re adding 8.5 lakh styles from leading Indian and international brands and over 1.5 lakh styles from our in-house brands. Myntra is looking at acquiring 700,000 new customers during the sale period, half of which from beyond the top 10 cities,” Amar Nagaram, head of Myntra-Jabong said in a statement.

Myntra is banking on categories such as winter wear, women’s ethnic and western wear, denim, streetwear, sports, and beauty to drive sales during EORS 11.

Apart from the above categories, Myntra also expects strong sales from its luxury segment. The etailer had entered this space earlier this month by partnering with Purple Style Labs-owned luxury fashion retailer Pernia’s Pop Up Shop.
