Myntra appoints Nandita Sinha as CEO
Fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra has named Nandita Sinha as its chief executive officer. Sinha succeeds Amar Nagaram, who resigned from Myntra last month.
Sinha's appointment is effective January 1, 2022, and she will report to Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy. She joins Myntra from group company Flipkart, where she is currently the vice president of customer growth and marketing.
Commenting on the appointment, Flipkart Group CEO, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, in a statement said: “As the forerunner of several innovations and unique consumer experiences, our aspirations continue to grow for Myntra as a separate company. Given her strong background in driving businesses and an acute focus on customer-centricity, she will be instrumental in defining the next phase of Myntra's evolution as its CEO.”
Commenting on her new role, Sinha added: “I am very excited about my new role and look forward to the opportunity of driving Myntra's vision of democratising fashion further while working with a very talented team at Myntra.”
Nandita joined Flipkart in August 2013. Prior to that, she co-founded the e-commerce site My Baby Cart and had stints with Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Britannia Industries Ltd.
