Mumbai to host India Jewellery Festival for over 400 retailers

India Bullion and Jewellers Association Limited (IBJA) in collaboration with Glambox will organise the India Jewellery Festival (IJF) from April 6 to May 7 in the city of Mumbai.
 

Mumbai to host India Jewellery Festival for over 400 retailers - ‘House of Aynat’


The month-long festival will see participation by retailers from across the Mumbai region. The festival will provide a platform for jewellery retailers to connect and sell directly to the consumers.
 
Over 400 jewellery retailers are expected to participate in the festival and the organisers expect an increase in counter sales during the period.

Commenting on the festival, Vinod Vadala, Mumbai president, IBJA in a statement said, “Mumbai is the economic capital of the country. We anticipate the participation of [over] 400 small and large retailers in this festival. During this festival, we have planned several interesting activities to drive footfalls to the participating stores.”
 
Hitesh Khandelwal, director of marketing at Glambox added, “IJF is launched with the motive of boosting the retail sales during the festive season. IJF will empower the jewellery retailers, especially the small and medium enterprises. It aims to bring together retailers, consumers and all stakeholders to celebrate India’s love for jewellery. We are proud to bring another kind of festival for the gems and jewellery industry.”
