Mufti enters footwear segment, signs Kartik Aaryan as brand ambassador

Mufti, a leading men’s fashion wear brand, has expanded its product portfolio by entering the footwear segment in India and eyeing a major share of the footwear market in the country.

The brand has also signed Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as its first brand ambassador. The company is looking to enhance brand visibility and reach out to the youth by bringing Kartik to endorse the brand.
 
“To provide a holistic lifestyle dressing solution, Mufti has launched footwear with the same ethos to provide an alternative choice which is young, casual yet comfortable,” said Mufti managing director Kamal Khushlani.

Commenting on Kartik’s appointment, Khushlani, said, “The brand, since its inception aims to provide an alternative dressing solution that doesn’t conform to fashion while being a casual wear denim brand. Kartik’s fun, easy-going and youthful persona goes perfectly with the brand’s image”.
 
Mufti was launched in 1998 by Kamal Khushlani and currently retails through more than 1,400 multi-brand outlets and 120 large format stores.
 
Mufti has a strong presence in India’s casual wear market, especially in the shirt and denim categories. It offers a range of T-shirts, shorts, joggers, outerwear, blazers, and accessories.
