Mrunalini Rao launches ‘She walks in beauty’ collection

Hyderabad-based womenswear designer Mrunalini Rao has launched her latest collection inspired from masculine elements titled ‘She walks in beauty’.

With this collection, the designer aims to overcome the traditional patriarchy in the society and empower women.

The collection has a wide range of alluring designs, including jacket skirt sets, jacket flared pant sets, cape sets, ruffle saree sets, and cuff embroidered kaftans.

Commenting on her new collection, Mrunalini Rao in a statement said, “The history of suits is the epitome of masculinity; power suits were designed to recognise a man’s status and a symbol of exclusivity, privilege, and success. We curated this collection considering the elements of male dominance to recreate strength for women of all ages emphasising on the changes that come with age.”

“With this collection we aim to overcome the conservative patriarchy in the society and empower women, encourage them to flaunt their flaws and feel confident in who they are. The designs reflect the ever-evolving modern woman striving to recreate their strength through power suits inspired by masculine energy,” she added.

Mrunalini Rao retails from its flagship store in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, e-commerce store, and multi-brand stores across India’s metros as well as in London, UK.
