With a view of enhancing content, Mr Porter has found a new editor-in-chief. John Brodie, a journalist, will take up his new post at Net-a-Porter’s men’s e-commerce site in mid-May.

He will succeed Jeremy Langmead, who left earlier this year. Brodie will be tasked with strengthening content in the aim of making Mr Porter an essential site for men’s fashion.

Based in New York, John Brodie will work between the United States and London, managing teams that both contribute editorial content to the site and put out a bi-monthly print publication: The Mr Porter Post. He himself has served as one of Mr Porter’s contributing editors, writing lifestyle articles. He has also worked at GQ, Fortune, and Hachette Book Group, the U.S. subsidiary of the French publisher.
