Movado appoints Sidharth Malhotra as brand ambassador for India
Luxury watch brand Movado has signed actor Sidharth Malhotra as its brand ambassador for the Indian market.
The brand will release a campaign featuring the actor across platforms and expects the popularity of the actor to help it make deeper inroads in the luxury watch segment in India.
Commenting on its association with the actor, Xavier Gauderlot, President international business at Movado Group Inc in a statement said, “We are excited to announce our partnership with Sidharth Malhotra. He is the perfect balance of classic and contemporary which forms the very foundation of Movado. The campaign has been curated to showcase Movado’s exquisite heritage and to appeal to our consumers who are watch aficionados.”

The Movado Group had earlier partnered with fashion e-commerce giant Myntra to launch the ‘MVMT’ (pronounced as ’Movement’) watches on the latter’s platform and witnessed strong growth in India over the last two years.
