After the recent opening of a boutique in Los Angeles (where Jeremy Scott lives), the Italian label has landed in the Big Apple.

The location extends over 3,700 sq ft in the city's boho-chic SoHo neighbourhood, at 73 Wooster Street between Broome and Spring. The store is stand out for its ironic pop décor teeming with gigantic objects.

Thus, huge hangers serve as clothes racks, while the label's new iconic accessories, from a jacket-shaped handbag to a leather hat, turn gigantic in the boutique's four corners, and a pair of oversized high-heel pumps serve as footwear display.

The Aeffe group's leading brand has been enjoying a moment in the spotlight since Jeremy Scott's arrival.  After its remarkable men's collection showcased at June's Pitti Uomo, Moschino is about to launch an advertising campaign featuring US pop star Katy Perry.

This isn't the first time Moschino has tried out a store in New York. It had one in the Meatpacking District but it closed down several years ago.
