Moonray opens flagship store in New Delhi

Womenswear and accessories brand Moonray has opened a flagship store in New Delhi’s Dhan Mill. The brand also plans to expand into menswear and fine jewellery in the near future. 

“Moonray’s flagship store in New Delhi embodies the rarity and timelessness of craft,” the brand announced on Facebook, sharing photos of the new space. “Invisible and intuitive, the store situated within the Dhan Mill compound, is a contemporary oasis with an all-white landscape and amorphous interiors designed in-house by the Moonray craft collective.”
 
The brand also plans to continue to expand its product offering and will step into men’s clothing and fine jewellery in the near future. Moonray’s current offering includes womenswear, fashion jewellery, footwear, handbags, and accessories which have a modern feel and are designed to appeal to a range of age groups. 

“Sustainable materials such as hand-coated limestone against terrazzo flooring create a visually calm, biophilic design,” Moonray’s co-founder Karishma Swali told Elle India about the new store. “The furniture is subtle, seamlessly merging into the background and harmonising with the muted colour scheme. At the heart, sits a laurel fig tree to echo Moonray’s profound respect for nature and love for the planet.”
 
Moonray was launched by mother-daughter duo Karishma and Avantika Swali as an ethical fashion and lifestyle brand. Moonray opened its first flagship store in Mumbai and also retails from its e-commerce store.
