Monte Carlo signs Andre Russell as brand ambassador for Rock It
Clothing firm Monte Carlo Fashions Limited has signed West Indian cricketer Andre Russell as the brand ambassador for its sportswear brand Rock It.
Russell will be the face of the brand in India and be part of all promotional activities for the brand in the country. The Jamaican player is part of West Indian squad at the ongoing ICC cricket world cup.
Monte Carlo forayed into the lucrative fitness fashion segment in 2017 with its fitness brand ‘Rock it’ which offers gym wear and sportswear including gym t-shirts, workout vests, sports shorts, track pants, active t-shirts, among others.
Commenting on the brand’s association with Russell, Rishabh Oswal, founder, Rock it and Monte Carlo executive director in a statement said, “Andre Russell embodies the essence of the brand and his easy vibe is set to take the brand value a notch high.”
For the financial year 2018-19, Monte Carlo had reported a profit of Rs 60 crore ($8.7 million) with revenue of Rs 656 crore.
Monte Carlo currently has over 253 exclusive brand outlets, over 2,500 multi-brand outlets, and 321 national chain stores. It also sells online through e-commerce firms like Flipkart, Amazon, Jabong, Myntra, and Kapsons.
