Moncler is turning its focus toward menswear. The luxury down jacket specialist is opening its first store dedicated to menswear collections in Paris, in the Marais district.

The 860 ft2 space is located at 11, rue des Archives (4th arrondissement), in the capital’s new luxury center. The store is located on premises owned by les Galeries Lafayette behind BHV/Marais, which also houses luxury brands like Fendi, Gucci and Givenchy.

With two large display windows overlooking the street, the store welcomes all of the houses’ menswear lines, its primary collection, its high-end line Moncler Gamme Bleu as well as accessories—especially bags and eyewear, the label said in a statement.

The store layout was designed by architects Gilles & Boissier, who have worked with the brand for years. The particular arrangement of the display area creates continuity between the store's interior and exterior.

For the walls and ceilings, the architects have used natural materials such as travertine and bright Eucalyptus creating a "high mountain" style characteristic of Moncler stores in general.

Moncler has opened its third store in Paris in the Marais

Seven years after opening its store on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (8th arrondissement) and a few months after the opening of its store in the Saint-Germain (6th arrondissement) district, Moncler is strengthening its presence in the capital with a third store.

In total, between stores and shop-in-shops, the label has 10 locations in France. Besides these three brand shops and three concessions in department stores, Moncler has four other stores in alpine resorts, as well as in Cannes.

In all, it has nearly 168 stores (branches and franchises combined) worldwide.
