From now on, the label’s famous padded jackets for men and women will be available to buy online. The e-boutique will also offer a selection of knitwear, bags, shoes and various accessories such as hats, scarves and gloves, with all items delivered in customised packaging. As for the updated website, customers can use it to discover and browse through the latest collections, including the Moncler Bleu, Rouge and Grenoble lines.

President and creative director Remo Ruffini commented “This launch is a crucial point within our global strategy. Our retail network is also being expanded through the Web”. Like many other brands, Moncler’s site also allows users to quickly find the nearest boutique.

Acquired in 2003 by Remo Ruffini, who is still the chairman but now holds a 32% stake in the company since Eurazeo acquired 45% in June, Moncler plans to increase its retail share to 50 percent in the midterm. The objective is to open around 20 stores every year in all regions, with one having just opened in Peking, its fourth one in China.
