Modista holds fashion event in Dubai, more international editions to come

The fashion shopping event Modista recently travelled to Dubai for its “Modista Glamorous Episode”. The Indian fashion exhibition will also travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, this season and host two more Indian editions.

The event took place on September 13 and 14 as part of a shopping fair at the Roda Al Murooj. The business to customer event showcased a range of Indian brands and featured product categories including apparel, jewellery, accessories, home décor, and lifestyle items from India, Pakistan, and the UAE.

Featured brands included Gauahargeous, SeReNe, Amour Faith Hope, Galina’s Beauty Salon, Elisium Gifts, The Arab Crab, Bling by Ruchika, Nona’s Exclusif, Jasmine’s Couture, Jewelden by Ananya Guha, Mala & Kinnary, Rahul Sinh, and Harsh Harsh among others. Cuddles Foundation sold scented candles to raise finds for children with Cancer and refreshments were also available. The Event House was the event’s décor partner and Artezaar was its support partner. 

Modista will next hold a shopping event in Ludhiana from September 30 to October 1 at the Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. The “Festive Debut” event will follow a similar format to the recent Dubai edition and will focus on fashion for the winter/ festive season.

The event will hold another international edition from October 4 to 5 in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. The event will feature Indian traditional wear, fusion wear, western wear, jewellery, and accessories, according to the event’s social media.

The event’s last edition of the season will take place in Kanpur on October 11. The Hotel Landmark Kanpur will feature a similar brand selection to its Ludhiana event.
