Modestreet is currently developing its technology teams for its fashion e-commerce business. It will use the investment to bolster its technology team and also to launch operations in Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Agra, according to a statement from Modestreet’s co-founder and chief executive, Abhitosh Yadav.

Following the investment, Aggarwal will join the business at Modestreet as a co-promoter and director, said Yadav. Modestreet’s other co-founder, Rohit Chhabra, said about the business’ future plans: “As a community-driven platform, we are positioning Modestreet Fashion as a personalised experience for browsing, discovery and shopping while also acting as an omnichannel shopping aggregator for fashion businesses.” The brand is currently pursuing an omni-channel approach with both online and offline development.

Modestreet was founded in March 2017 by Yadav and Chhabra. The business retails clothing online and also offers augmented reality shopping services. The business’ e-commerce site includes Indian and international brands such as Massimo Dutti, Charles & Keith, Misho, Diesel, Ray Ban, H&M, Forever 21, and Zara.
