Misfit signs Shanaya Kapoor, Vir Das, Divyendu Sharmaa, Rohit Saraf as brand ambassadors
Personal care and grooming brand Misfit by Boat has signed a host of celebrities including Shanaya Kapoor, Vir Das, Divyendu Sharmaa, and Rohit Saraf, as its brand ambassadors.
The brand has also launched an integrated campaign #NeverFitIn with these celebrities across all social media platforms and expects this association to strengthen its presence among the millennials in the country.
Commenting on the campaign, Aman Gupta, co-founder of Boat, parent company of Misfit, in a statement said: “We have established our leadership in the earwear and wearable category and are strengthening our lifestyle portfolio under the ‘Misfit’ brand. Since the launch, we have received rave reviews about the brand and the products. Our brand Misfits (ambassadors) celebrate and personify the new socio-culture. With this new campaign, we want to tickle the jester in you.”
Targeted at millennials, Misfit was launched in July this year and is banking on its affordable pricing and innovative products to drive sales. The brand will also launch a range of women's personal care products in the Indian market soon. Misfit products are exclusively available on leading e-commerce platform Flipkart and Boat’s website.
