Miniso partners with Flipkart’s value platform ‘2Gud’

Japanese-themed value lifestyle brand Miniso has partnered with e-commerce marketplace Flipkart’s value platform ‘2Gud’ to boost its sales during the upcoming festive season.
The partnership will see Miniso selling its products to 2Gud million-plus consumer base across the country. With this partnership, Miniso is looking to tap into the tier 2 and 3 markets of India.
Commenting on the partnership, Chanakya Gupta, head of 2Gud in a statement said, “2Gud caters to hyper-value-conscious customers beyond metros and tier 1 cities, while keeping in mind the growing aspirations of the next 200 million customers online. We have customers coming from more than 3000 cities in the country who are seeking to maximise value without compromising on quality, and Miniso’s products fit that proposition perfectly.”
Tyrone Li, India head for Miniso, added, “The Miniso brand is based on the tenet of bringing high quality goods to its audience at competitive prices. We are committed to creating the best shopping experience for our consumers online as we do offline. We believe this collaboration with 2Gud will help us strengthen our resolve and achieve this goal on a large scale.”
Miniso recently partnered with Snapdeal and Shopclues to boost its online sales in India. The company considers India as among the top five contributors to its global revenue. The brand currently has 110 stores across India and plans to open another 60 stores this year.
