Trade show organiser Messe Frankfurt India will hold an offline-online hybrid edition of Techtextil India from September 1 to 3, 2021 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

Techtextil will return to Mumbai in September with a hybrid edition - Techtextil India- Facebook

For its upcoming edition, Techtextil India aims to bring together textile manufacturers and buyers from across the world with a physical trade show and virtual features to enable businesses to attend from other locations. Virtual features will include live streaming, video calls, and live chats among others, the trade show announced in a press release.

The event will use its AI-assisted platform to automatically match potential suppliers with buyers when they launch product or service queries. Businesses will then be able to set up meetings either online or in person with social distancing measures in place.

“The demand for medical textiles, particularly spun bond non-wovens have skyrocketed ever since the onset of the pandemic,” the event announced in a press release.

“Geotextile products in India have also experienced a strong leap in demand supported by [the] government’s continual investments in the development of highways and roadways. With a manifold of opportunities lying ahead for the technical textile segment, it is crucial for the players to increase their market presence and build networks to effectively leverage imminent demands.”

“With new demands arising in the segment, the hybrid edition of Techtextil India 2021 will enable technical textile players to engage with businesses beyond geographical constraints, forge new alliances and gain specialised insights to strategically equip themselves for the new normal,” said Messe Frankfurt India in a statement.
