Unveiling an array of colourful sherwanis, intricate headdresses, and fusion style suits, the retail outlet has an opulent style, cream coloured storefront and garden above which stairs lead to the glass entrance. The warm-toned interior features a display of black and white photographs of couturier Tahiliani working on the read-to-wear line along with craftspeople and assistants.

“Our medley of traditional Indian fabrics and contemporary silhouettes has made its way to the hubs of Bangalore,” the brand announced on Facebook on Saturday. “Experience a modern rendition of Indian menswear at our store in Malleshwaram, Bangalore.”

The store has numerous areas to sit and homely touches such as reading lamps. The store is the first of many that Aditya Birla Group plans to open for its new venture, the business had announced at the brand’s launch earlier this month. Within a year, the business plans to open between 50 and 70 Tasva stores across India, bringing Tahiliani’s traditional aesthetic to a wider audience through the collaborative brand.
