Menswear brand Tasva opens first store in Jaipur

Tasva has opened new stores in Jaipur and Ludhiana to house its full selection of occasion and wedding sets. The men’s traditional wear brand now has an India store total of 34. 

Tasva is now open in Jaipur on MI Road, the brand’s business development manager for North India Tanveer Kaur announced on Linkedin. The brand also opened a new store in Ludhiana on the city’s Mall Road, the brand shared in an Instagram story on January 19. 
 
Tasva has expanded across India and is showing no signs of slowing down its brick-and-mortar expansion plans in 2023. Other recent Tasva store openings include Kochi and Mumbai among others. 

As well as brick-and-mortar retail, Tasva is also expanding online. After beginning with its own e-commerce store, Tasva partnered with multi-brand fashion platform Myntra in October 2022 to retail its clothing and accessories with the Flipkart-owned business. 
 
Tasva launched in December 2021 as a partnership between garmenting giant Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and couturier Tarun Tahiliani. The brand aims to offer classic Indian styles for the modern man at an accessible price. 
 
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited first partnered with Tarun Tahiliani in February 2021 when it acquired a 33.5% stake in Goodview Properties Private Limited which gave it access to Tarun Tahiliani’s existing luxury couture business, valued at Rs 67 crore.
