Clothing and accessories brand HoliChic by Megha has stepped into menswear and gender neutral apparel, continuing to expand its product categories to bring its fusion style to wider audiences.

HoliChic by Megha’s new menswear line has launched with a range of fusion-style pieces from brocade blazers to kurta-style shirts and printed sweaters, the brand announced on Facebook. The line is designed to be mixed and matched with desi and western wear and features accents of traditional textiles.
The brand has also launched a ‘gender neutral’ line of clothing with a dedicated segment on its e-commerce store. The line featured garments including oversized, printed shirts with contrast-fabric pocket details. Gender neutral clothing is becoming increasingly popular both in the US and India and many brands have launched such lines to appeal to a Gen Z audience.
Indian-American fashion designer Megha Rao launched HoliChic with the aim of blending Indian and western style to create an eclectic yet casual aesthetic for a global audience. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
“I couldn’t find what I wanted to wear in my closet” Rao told Outlook India about the inception of her brand. “Growing up as an Indian-American, I craved a fusion style that could blend both my worlds and represent who I was. Because I couldn’t find what I wanted to wear I began creating my own looks pulling from my Indian and American wardrobes. This eventually turned into my label.”
