May Dhruva and Manish Saksena launch latest collections at Bangalore Times Fashion Week

On Wednesday, brands May Dhruva (Yamuna & Dhruva) and Manish Saksena featured in a joint showcase on day two of Bangalore Times Fashion Week and presented wearable luxury on the runway. 

May Dhruva (Yamuna & Dhruva) opened day two of Bangalore Times Fashion Week with a traditional style bridal collection mixing classic embellishments and silhouettes with fusion style motifs and micro-blouses. Deep crimson lehengas with 3D floral designs walked alongside rainbow chevron ensembles for a vibrant collection to cater to brides-to-be of every style. 
 
Monochrome menswear looks were subtly textured with geometric embellishments and accessorised with jade jewellery. The show concluded with a deep red lehenga with a cropped velvet blouse and life-size 3D floral embellishments.

Manish Saksena’s latest traditional wear collection had a slightly more muted colour palette with the emphasis being on the subtle luxury of his chosen weaves. Fine sarees featured dots, checks, and tree-like patterns in colours including mauve, leaf green, blue, and red. With looks suitable for both day and night, the collection was a nostalgic yet wearable ode to the saree.  

Bangalore Times Fashion Week is an initiative by the Times Group and held its sixth edition from December 28 to 29. This season, the theme was sustainable fashion. The fashion week was live streamed for free viewing on Flipkart Video through the Flipkart mobile app.
