Max Fashion expands retail presence in India

Retail chain Max Fashion has strengthened its retail presence with the addition of a new store in the coastal state of Goa. This is the brand’s fifth store in the state.

The new store located at the Caculo Mall in Panjim is spread over an area of 10,000 square feet and will house the latest collections from the brand.
 
Max Fashion is owned by the Dubai-based Landmark Group sees huge potential for growth and plans to further expand its retail presence in the country.

The company’s expansion will be focused mostly on metros and mini-metros across India. It plans to add another 35 stores before the end of the current fiscal year.
 
“We have a massive expansion plan with around 70-80 new stores planned every year in India. We have already opened 35 new stores during the current financial year despite the Covid-19 pandemic and plan to add another 35 in the coming months,” said Piyush Sharma regional business head Karnataka and Goa.
 
Max Fashion was started in 2004 in the Middle East. Since then the brand has grown at a phenomenal pace and is now present in 19 countries. In India, it currently has about 390 stores across over 130 cities.
