Max Fashion opens new store in Bengaluru, ties up with NGOs

Max Fashion continues its India expansion with a new store in Bengaluru, and has partnered with a number of NGOs to run a clothing donation initiative.

Max Fashion opened its most recent brick-and-mortar location in Banashankari, Bengaluru. The store opened on August 25 with a launch event and shoppers were offered inaugural offers on a range of items. The store stocks the brand’s full array of women’s ethnic wear including kurtas, sarees, dupattas, and tops among other items. 

Ahead of this year’s Durga Puja, the brand aims to donate new clothing to over 5,000 children in collaboration with several NGOs, United News of India reported.

Max Fashion has collaborated with organisations including Hope Foundation, Rotary Club, and Voice of World and will encourage its Kolkata-based customers to donate new clothing in-store which will be passed along to those who need it. 

The brand also launched its Onam collection at the end of last month with a runway show in collaboration with Anushree. The collection features occasion wear for the upcoming winter/ festive season as well as casual ethnic day-wear. 

Max Fashion has around 300 brick-and-mortar stores across India in over 100 cities. The Middle Eastern fashion business first entered India in 2006 and recently launched online in India with Amazon on August 1.
