Fashion brand, Max Fashion, has strengthened its retail footprint in the coastal state of Goa, with the opening of its fourth store in the state.

The new store is located in the city of Mapusa and is spread over an area of 13,000 square feet. It will house menswear, womenswear and kidswear across categories such as apparel, footwear, accessories and more.
 
Commenting on the launch, Piyush Sharma, vice president retail operation Karnataka and Goa in a statement said: “We have always received an amazing response from Goa state. The love and acceptance by the customers has inspired us to further develop our footprint in the state. I hope our customers will continue loving and supporting us.”

Max Fashion is owned by the Dubai-based Landmark Group, which further plans to expand its retail presence in the country. The company has earmarked an investment of Rs 400 crore on retail expansion mostly in metros and mini-metros across India.
 
On the back of its retail expansion, Max Fashion aims to become India’s first-ever billion-dollar fashion brand by the next financial year.
 
Globally, Max has over 400 stores across 19 countries, while in India, there are more than 300 Max stores across 110 cities.
