Marriage Mantra postpones Parineeti shopping fair
Fashion events business Marriage Mantra cancelled its ‘Parineeti’ multi-brand shopping event scheduled for March 16 at the JW Marriott in Mumbai, as the city’s confirmed coronavirus cases continue to rise.
“In light of the coronavirus cases now reported in Mumbai and rapidly increasing cases in the state, the health and safety of our exhibitors and shoppers is our priority,” announced Marriage Mantra on Facebook.
“We have postponed Parineeti… and new dates will be announced as soon as the situation is under control. Stay healthy and take precautionary measures as suggested by the government.”
As of Monday, Marriage Mantra’s next upcoming shopping fair ‘Pink Almari’ will still take place on March 31 at Blue Sea in Worli, Mumbai. The shopping exhibition plans to launch a wide range of summer collections in the city. Marriage Mantra also has another, separate edition of Parineeti scheduled for July 13, also at the JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai.
Confirmed coronavirus cases in Maharashtra totalled 37 as of March 16, when four new cases were discovered in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Live Mint reported.
