Marks & Spencer partners with Jabong for online push

British fashion retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) in order to boost its online sales has partnered with the country’s leading fashion e-commerce firm Jabong.

The M&S collections have already gone online on the fashion platform which includes the latest Spring Summer-18 collection that offers womenswear, menswear, lingerie, beauty and kids wear.
 
Flipkart owned Jabong has been expanding its product portfolio very aggressively to expand its consumer base in the country especially in the apparel segment which contributes the highest to the Jabong business with around 45 percent revenue. M&S tie up is expected to further boost sales of the firm.

Ritesh Mishra, Head of Buying & Merchandising, Marks & Spencer Reliance India, in a statement said, "We are delighted to be launching the sale of Marks & Spencer products on Jabong, ensuring that as more customers choose to shop online they can easily purchase the unique style of the M&S range.”
 
Kalyan Kumar, Chief Merchandising Officer at Jabong, said, “As a premium fashion and lifestyle platform, Jabong has to its credit, a vast array of the choicest international fashion brands that shoppers can choose from.  The addition of M&S further reinforces our core proposition and commitment to offer consumers in India, the very best in fashion, from across the world. Marks & Spencer entered the Indian market in 2001 and currently has a strong network of 63 offline stores across the country.
