Marks & Spencer opens 96th India store

Marks & Spencer has opened its 96th India store in Indore, its second in the city. With its new opening, the fashion and lifestyle brand has bolstered its brick-and-mortar retail presence in Madhya Pradesh.

“Customers in Indore have shown us a lot of love, and we are thrilled to open our second store in the city today,” said Marks and Spencer Reliance India Limited’s managing director Ritesh Mishra, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Indore has an appetite for fashion, seeking the quality and style that M&S provides its customers.”
 
The store is Marks & Spencers’ third in the state of Madhya Pradesh and measures 13,000 square feet. Located within the city’s Phoenix Citadel Mall, the store retails products including menswear, womenswear, children’s wear, cosmetics, lingerie, and accessories among others. 

Marks & Spencer’s new address opened its doors with the brand’s winter collection, including a range of ‘Heattech’ thermal under layers.  The expansive store marks the British brand’s commitment to continued expansion in the Indian market, where it is already present in 35 cities.  
 
In addition to its physical stores, Marks & Spencer is continuing to expand online. The brand retails online through its dedicated e-commerce store and also has a presence on multi-brand platforms including Myntra, Amazon India, Zivame, snd Ajio.
