Marie Claire Paris to open 15 salons in Chennai by 2023
French lifestyle brand Marie Claire has entered the southern states of Tamil Nadu with its first salon in the city of Chennai. It plans to open 15 more over the next four years.
The brand had entered the Indian market through a partnership with B2C Network which is the exclusive licensee for Marie Claire Paris Salon in the country.
Commenting on the store opening, Vandana Bhardwaj, managing director at B2C Network in a statement said, “Venturing into the Chennai market was a natural choice. It is a huge market with a lot of big, good brands that have already established themselves. It is also a market that every brand looks forward to catering to because the people love to experiment and enjoy being exposed to different experiences.”
Roberto Bre, head of Marie Claire Paris brand development in India added, “We are pleased with the response we have received for the Marie Claire Salons in India. All salons will be established in malls, high street zones and premium retail hubs drawing huge footfalls and we are looking forward to achieving a sizable market share for Marie Claire for the beauty business in India.”
Marie Claire currently has its salons and wellness centres in leading metro cities across India.
