Manyavar partners with Indian Olympic Association

Ethnic wear brand Manyavar has partnered with the Indian Olympic Association as the official style partner for the Indian contingent at the upcoming Commonwealth Games, Asian Games 2022, and Paris Olympics.

With this association, Manyavar aims to showcase Indian outfits at these international events through these athletes and expand the brand’s global presence.

Commenting on the association, Vedant Modi, chief marketing officer of Vedant Fashions Limited (owned Manyvar) in a statement said, “Manyavar has been known for promoting Indian culture and trends in men’s fashion. We feel proud to associate with the Indian Olympic Association as their Indian official ‘Style Partner’. With this, we hope to take Manyavar to a global level & evoke love, pride and passion for our culture across the world. We wish luck to all our athletes representing India at the Commonwealth games.”

Commenting on the association, IOA secretary general Rajeev Mehta added, “It is a great sign for the Indian Olympic movement that popular and respectable brands like Manyavar are stepping up to support our athletes. Our athletes deserve the best whatever the occasion and a brand like Manyavar will ensure that they are ambassadors of Indian culture and traditions not only on the field but off the field as well.”

Vedant Fashions launched Manyavar in 1999, with the aim of disrupting the largely unorganised ethnic wear market. The brand retails across India and has a presence in the U.S. and UAE.
