Manthan Gems and Jewellery Conclave 2019 brings businesses to Mumbai

The All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council held the Manthan Gems and Jewellery Conclave 2019 from July 2 to 3 in Mumbai to bring together India’s jewellery businesses for a knowledge-sharing event. 

The GJC’s jewellery trade show, which launched its first ever edition last year, returned this week for its second in Mumbai. The business-to-business event was a networking opportunity for India’s fine jewellery industry and also an opportunity to share information. Prior to the event, its organisers had expected around 1,000 attendees. 

An array of executives from India’s jewellery industry participated in the two-day event including Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ managing director Asher O; Bluestone’s founder and CEO Gaurav Singh Kushwala; Reliance Jio’s president Sunil Dutt; Forevermark’s managing director Sachin Jain; and Creativeland Asia Group’s founder and creative chairman Sajjan Raj Kurup. A total of 27 speakers took to the stage to discuss current industry trends and their own businesses. 

“The purpose of this powerful knowledge sharing platform is to promote learning and gain insights from industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets spread across different industries,” the GJC’s convenor for Manthan Manoj Kumar said about the event.
