Manish Malhotra partners with INIFD and LST for masterclass

Manish Malhotra will launch “Learn from Manish Malhotra” in collaboration with the International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) and the London School of Trends (LST).

Manish Malhotra, who has worked in the fashion industry for 27 years and designed for his eponymous label for 13, will now teach his skills to a group of students with a yearlong fashion design course, “Learn from Manish Malhotra”. The course will be taught online with reference and study material provided and the course described itself as having an “international Fashion and Interior Design curriculum”.
 
The course, which consists of nine modules covering various aspects of fashion, will offer a certificate to students on completion and online support will also be offered. "While it's difficult for me to connect with the students on a daily basis - this programme is designed to facilitate students through video lectures where I'll be sharing my experiences from my career along with the study material that will help enhance their skill," Malhotra told India Today Education.

Malhotra has thanked LST for popularising fashion design as an option to study and has stated his belief that the fashion will continue to grow and offer dynamic career opportunities. "People are becoming vocal with their opinions on craftsmanship and designs we showcase or the national and international influencers we dress. The consumer landscape is truly changing thanks to social media. Luxury is today as much about the experience/the story as it is about the product," said Malhotra.
