Mammut saw sales increase slightly in 2014

Mammut experienced a sluggish 2014. Last year, the outdoor and mountain brand, which belongs to the Swiss multi-sector company Conzzeta, saw its sales increase only slightly to around 250 million Swiss francs ($256m/£174m) for a stable profit before interest and taxes of 20.8 million.

In a press release, the company, which is involved in the chemical and machine tools sectors, said that its most important markets (Switzerland, Germany, Austria) show signs of saturation while sales in Asia continued to grow. Like many brands, its retail development has also helped to offset the decline in wholesale.
