Malabar Gold & Diamonds names Anil Kapoor as its new brand ambassador

Jewellery retailer Malabar Gold & Diamonds has named Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor as its new brand ambassador.
 

Kapoor joins a host of Indian celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Miss World Manushi Chhillar, who also endorse the jewellery brand.
 
The actor will be seen endorsing Malabar Gold across various platforms and will soon be seen in the new TV commercial series named 'Malabar Promises'.

"We are happy to welcome Anil Kapoor to the Malabar Family. We have been associating with Anil Kapoor over the last 5 years for various store inaugurations, so this was a natural progression of our relationship. His fame and recognition in India as well as globally will undoubtedly complement and strengthen our communication strategy to achieve the aggressive expansion plans we have in India as we as globally," in a statement said MP Ahammed chairman of the Malabar Group.
 
Commenting on his association with the brand, Anil Kapoor added: "I only endorse brands that I believe in and can support, as it comes with a lot of responsibility. I am humbled and thrilled that a brand like Malabar Gold & Diamonds has shown faith in me and chosen me as the face of their brand.”
 
Malabar Gold & Diamonds currently has a strong retail network of 250 outlets across 10 countries. The company has planned major domestic and international expansion in the coming months.
