Malabar Gold and Diamonds opens two new stores in UAE

Fine jewellery brand Malabar Gold and Diamonds has opened two new stores in the UAE in Dubai’s Mirdif City Centre and in Sharjah’s Al Nahda. The new exclusive brand outlets opened with interactive inauguration ceremonies this week. 

“Double the excitement, double the sparkle,” announced Malabar Gold and Diamonds on Facebook on May 24. “Join us as we proudly announce the launch of Malabar Gold and Diamonds at Mirdif City Centre, Dubai and our largest outlet in Sharjah at Al Nahda. Explore our world of timeless elegance and discover the perfect piece that reflects your style.”
 
The Dubai store joins the brand’s other recently opened store in the area in the Dubai’s Gold Souk. Dubai and Sharjah have a large number of Indian expats and premium shoppers and thus represent significant growth opportunities for Indian fashion and jewellery brands. 

Malabar Gold and Diamonds is undertaking a large scale retail expansion plan and will continue to open stores across India while expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint into territories including the UK, Canada, Australia, and the UAE. The business announced earlier in May that it is currently ranked as the sixth largest jewellery retailer in the world in terms of revenue and it aims to become number one by 2030.
