Malabar Gold and Diamonds opens new store in Bengaluru
Malabar Gold and Diamonds has opened a new store in Bengaluru’s Forum Mall at Prestige Falcon City. The jewellery brand’s latest opening brings its total of brick-and-mortar stores in Bengaluru to 14.
“Officially welcoming Malabar Gold and Diamonds to the Forum Family with a grand launch that saw many familiar and new faces gracing the store,” Forum Mall announced on Facebook. “What a way to walk into the new year!”
The new Malabar Gold and Diamonds showroom was inaugurated by Indian Police Service inspector general of police Roopa D Moudgil, India Retailing reported. The brand’s Karnataka regional head Filsor Babu also attended the store opening.
The store retails Malabar Gold and Diamonds’ full range of traditional style gold jewellery, with bridal collections as well as more lightweight, everyday pieces. The store has a magenta façade, featuring a photo of brand ambassador and actress Kareena Kapoor, and a black and gold interior full of illuminated glass cabinets to house the brand’s latest designs.
Malabar Gold and Diamonds was launched by P Ahammed in 1993 and is headquartered in Kozhikode in Kerala. The brand operates over 270 stores across 10 countries. In the 2022 financial year, Malabar Gold and Diamonds reported a revenue total of Rs 30,000 crore and its revenue goal for the current financial year is Rs 45,000 crore.
