Malabar Gold opens store in Singapore, plans to add two new stores in Malaysia

​Global jewellery retailer Malabar Gold & Diamonds has strengthened its presence in the Far East with the launch of a new showroom and its third in Singapore.

The new showroom, located inside the Centrium Square, Serangoon Road, houses the latest collections from the brand and will cater to the increasing footfall and demand for the brand in the region.
 
Malabar Gold sees huge potential for growth in the Far East and plans to add two new showrooms in Malaysia in the coming months. Currently, it has three showrooms in Singapore and four in Malaysia.

Commenting on the expansion, M P Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Group, in a statement said: “We are excited about this launch as it adds yet another feather to the hat with our expansion into the Far East. We now have a total of seven outlets in the Far East with four in Malaysia and three in Singapore and we continue embarking on this journey by further expanding in the region, with two new outlets due for launch in Malaysia, before the close of this year.”
 
Malabar Gold has 260 retail outlets across 10 countries. It has earmarked an investment of Rs 1,600 crore ($220.4 million) to strengthen its domestic and international presence in the financial year 2022. The company plans to open 40 outlets across India and 16 internationally to further boost its retail presence across the globe.
