Malabar Gold opens new showroom in Ghatkopar

Leading jewellery retailer Malabar Gold and Diamonds has strengthened its presence in the state of Maharashtra with its new showroom in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
 

With the addition of the new showroom, Malabar Gold now has around eleven stores in Maharashtra.
 
Commenting on the expansion, M P Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Group, in a statement said: “I am confident that our new store will impress jewellery buyers with its strong customer service and product variety. We are grateful to the city and its people for welcoming us and allowing us the privilege of being part of their auspicious occasions and celebrations.”

Malabar Gold and Diamonds will set aside five percent of the profit earned by the Ghatkopar showroom for various charitable and philanthropic activities in this region.
 
Malabar Gold has earmarked an investment of Rs 1,600 crore ($220.4 million) to strengthen its domestic and international presence in the financial year 2022. It plans to open 40 outlets across India and 16 internationally to further boost its retail presence across the globe.
